Our Mission
We build open tools so coastal communities can act on what they already see — and so the world stops looking away from the ocean's invisible plastic problem.
Why SDG 14?
Of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, Life Below Water is consistently the least funded. The Bay of Bengal — bordering Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka — is one of the world's most fishing-intensive seas, and ghost gear from monsoon storms drifts into mangroves, fishing grounds, and turtle nesting beaches. We built Bay Sentinel to give that invisible damage a face on a map.
Team

Bay Sentinel is a student-built coastal conservation project focused on Bangladesh's coastline and the Bay of Bengal — aligned with UN SDG 14, Life Below Water.
